At our house, having healthy meal prep snacks are a must. From our farmer’s packed lunches to healthy snacks for the kids, everyone loves a ready to go snack. It's even better when you can pack for snacks for on the go!
Let’s just talk about the snacks for the kids for a second, while we’re at it.
At our house they want to eat all the time. Like when they wake up, mid-morning, as soon as their feet hit the gravel getting off of the school bus.
And now that we're at home more than ever, I feel like the kids are constantly snacking.
Growing takes, work, you know???
So instead of pouring over the grocery store aisles reading labels and hiding snacks from the kidddos (and the husband if we’re being honest) I’m here to share a whole bunch a meal prep snacks that you’ll feel good about and your family will love, too.
I’ve rounded up some meal prep snack recipes that you can use for work including healthy snacks for adults and kids.

Meal Prep Snacks
Save some time and eat real foods by making your own snacks. It’s not hard, I promise. I have ideas…
Once you get the hang of clean eating snacks you’ll know what to keep on hand that your kids will like. Until that time comes – I’ve got a a big ole list of snacks that are great to keep in the pantry and fridge!
Use whatever fruits or vegetables that are in season and pick a variety to last throughout the week.
- Trail Mix
- Homemade Granola Bars
- Sliced apples with cinnamon sugar sprinkled
- Dried Fruit
- Protein bars or protein bites
- Popcorn
- Pre-made smoothies
Grab and Go Snacks
- yogurt or cottage cheese - try topping it with homemade blueberry compote!
- string cheese or cheese cubes
- beef jerky
- hard boiled eggs or Instant Pot Deviled Eggs

Dips for Snacking
Pair some chips or vegetables for dipping. Some of my favorite snacking vegetables are:
- cucumber slices
- baby carrots
- celery (I take out the stringy part because I'm just that way)
- baby bell peppers
- grape tomatoes
- snap peas
Dip these bad boys in dips like:
- whipped feta dip
- guacamole
- hummus
- bean dip
- almond or other nut butter
- traditional tomato salsa or mango salsa
