How We’re Stretching Ingredients This Week
This meal plan works well because several ingredients pull double duty.
- Use leftover rotisserie chicken for wraps AND flatbreads
- Extra lettuce works for wraps and taco casserole toppings
- BBQ sauce is used for flatbreads and pulled pork
- Leftover pulled pork makes great lunches the next day
- Leftover buns can be used for pulled pork sandwiches, Italian sausage sandwiches, or packed lunches later in the week.
That’s the kind of meal planning magic we like!
Why This Meal Plan Works
- Budget-friendly ingredients from Aldi
- Simple meals for busy summer schedules
- Flexible enough to swap ingredients you already have
- Realistic dinners your family will actually eat
- Less stress about what’s for supper every night
