Why You'll Love This Recipe
Hello, air fryer - where have you been all my life? This handy kitchen gadget cooks food up fast, crispy and delicious food without a mess. Did I mention it's speedy?
That's why the air fryer is perfect to cook up savory kielbasa bites. They're easy to cook up when we need something to hold us over until dinner time, or a meaty snack, appetizer or party food.
Pork is packed with protein. Eating 20 – 30 grams of protein per meal helps fuel your body and may help you feel fuller. That being said, every 3 ounces of pork is packed full of 22 – 24 grams of protein depending on the cut.
I consider these kielbasa bites to be a cousin of air fryer bratwurst, air fryer Italian sausages and cheesy kielbasa sandwiches.

🛒 INGREDIENTS
Whew! I really outdid myself on this ingredient shot! Cue up the polka music for this Polish sausage recipe!

- kielbasa sausage - Kielbasa is usually made from pork, although it can also be made from beef, veal, or a combination of meats. It often includes garlic, marjoram, and other spices which give it a unique flavor. I think our proximity to Wisconsin makes this a staple in our household kitchen. Even if you don't live by me, you can find kielbasa at your local grocery store!
And hey - when you buy pork at any grocery store across the United States, you are supporting family farms in Utah and the United States.

🥣 How to make kielbasa bites in the air fryer
Before you start, preheat your air fryer to 380°F for about 3-5 minutes.

- Step 1: Slice the kielbasa into ½ inch thick pieces, which I've found is the perfect size for a little bit of crispy on the edges.

- Step 2: Add the kielbasa slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure the pan is not crowded to allow for even air circulation, which means even cooking.

- Step 3: Cook at 380°F for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cook time for even browning.
Let the kielbasa bites rest for a minute or two before serving. Serve with ketchup, bbq sauce or your favorite mustard.
🍽 Serving Suggestions
Kielbasa pairs well with sauerkraut, roasted vegetables, or a side of mustard. Whole grain mustard is my fav!
Storage
These are best served straight outta the air fryer! To reheat, you can pop them back into the air fryer for a few minutes until warmed through.
