This sand pudding cups recipe is so easy to make! Let me tell you how I made these easy parfait desserts.
How to make sand pudding cups
Okay, we've all seen the dirt pudding cups in our lifetime, right?
You know, the kind with crushed up Oreo cookies and the gummy worms on top?
We this is a similar concept, except made for the beach and sand!
First, let's make the "sand" for our pudding cups. In a gallon sized bag, put 8 whole graham crackers. Using a rolling pin (or your hands), crush the graham crackers into crumbs.
Can you smell the ocean yet?
Then, make the vanilla pudding according to package directions.
Hold my flip flops, It's getting sandy in here!!!
Layer the vanilla pudding, then the graham cracker crumbs and repeat.
Top with a drink umbrella and you are beach bound, baby!!
These are so fun and our kids absolutely loved these simple dessert treats!
What cups should I use for my Pudding Parfaits?
I used punch cups I found at my local big box store. Okay, it was Walmart.
These were plenty big, I think next time I'd go for a smaller size cup for the sand pudding, like a 5 ounce cup.
You can usually find drink umbrellas in the party section of your store.
These are so fun, so make some sand pudding cups and have a blast!

I love how simple these are! What a great idea 🙂 My kids are teens now so not so much for a party, but we would eat them for dessert. We didn't make it to the shore last year and might not this year either, so this can be the next best thing. We live close enough but have a hard time finding one that our recently adopted pooch can go to. So we will set out some beach towels in our back yard and enjoy the sand in our cups!
