How to Make Roast Beef Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls
Before you get started, make the horseradish mayo. That allows the flavors to start blending.

- Make the horseradish sauce. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, and garlic powder. Refrigerate while assembling the sliders.

- Prepare the rolls. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire package in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a 9x13 baking dish or on a rimmed baking sheet.

- Assemble the sliders. Spread a thin layer of horseradish sauce on the bottom half of the rolls.
Layer the roast beef evenly over the rolls and top with provolone cheese slices. Place the tops of the rolls back on.

- Make the buttery topping. Whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder.
Pour evenly over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Cover loosely with foil.

- Bake. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
Slice into individual sliders and serve warm with extra horseradish sauce for dipping if desired.

- Step 5: Serve. Slice into individual sliders using a serrated knife. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Roast Beef Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls
Ingredients
Method
- Make the horseradish mayo. In a small bowl, combine the ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 Tablespoon prepared horseradish, 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Stir to blend and set aside.
- Prepare the rolls. Cut 1 package King's Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally (do not slice into individual rolls). Place the bottom portion of the buns on a foil covered baking sheet.
- Spread a thin layer of the mayo sauce on the bottom half on the rolls.
- Layer 1 pound deli sliced roast beefand 8 slices provolone cheese slices on the bottom half of the rolls. Replace the top of the rolls.
- Prepare the topping: In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard, ¼ cup unsalted butter, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Pour the sauce over the rolls, just covering the tops. Sprinkle with 2 teaspoons poppy seeds. Cover with foil.
- Heat the oven to 350° (there's a reason I don't preheat the oven. This gives the topping to have time to soak in.) When the oven is heated, bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove foil and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tops are slightly golden brown.
- Slice into individual sliders using a serrated knife.
