- 1.5 pounds beef stew meat or round steak or sirloin steak, cut into ½ inch strips
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream for serving time
- 1 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 12 ounces egg noodles for serving time
Add the 1.5 pounds beef stew meat, 1 onion, 2 Tablespoons butter, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 8 ounces sliced mushrooms, 1 cup beef broth, 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, ½ teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon black pepper to a crockpot. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours. Add the 1 cup sour cream and 1 Tablespoons Dijon mustard. Stir well to incorporate.
Serve over 12 ounces egg noodles.

To make as a freezer meal:
In a large gallon sized freezer bag, combine meat, onion, butter, garlic, mushrooms, broth, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Remove excess air and lay flat to freeze. Cook as directed.
