Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ head cabbage cored and shredded
  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the pork. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pork is almost cooked through, approximately 4-6 minutes.
  • Add the shredded cabbage and stir to combine. Cook, stirring occasionally until the cabbage softens and brightens in color, about 6-7 minutes
  • While the cabbage is cooking, make the stir fry sauce. In a jar with a lid or a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger.
  • Once the cabbage is cooked to your liking, add the stir fry sauce. Stir to combine and cook another 1-2 minutes.
    Remove from heat and serve.

Notes

For the sauce, use soy sauce, tamari (for gluten free) or coconut aminos (for lower carb)
