Cottage Cheese Dip
Creamy cottage cheese dip is the snack-time superhero you didn’t know you needed. This delicious treat is equally at home whether it's scooped up with crunchy carrot sticks or a warm piece of pita bread.

Add 2 cups low-fat cottage cheese, 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 Tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon lemon zest, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepperto a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. (Note: If you prefer a chunkier texture, pulse briefly instead.) Taste for seasoning and adjust the salt, pepper or lemon juice as needed.
Transfer to a bowl and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or longer to allow the flavors to meld.
Garnish with 2 Tablespoons fresh basil, chopped (if desired) and serve.
I like to add the mayo for a little tang, but you can omit it, or use non-fat Greek yogurt in its place.
Before serving, give your dip a quick stir, as some separation may occur as it sits.
Serving Suggestions:
- Veggies: Carrot sticks, celery, cucumber slices, and cherry tomatoes.
- Crackers or Chips: Whole grain crackers, or thick-cut potato chips for a crunch.
- Bread: Fresh pita bread, air fryer pita chips, naan, or baguette slices.
