Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts about 4 breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
  • In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, parsley, and black pepper. Sprinkle evenly over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred using two forks or a hand mixer.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir with some of the cooking liquid to keep it moist before serving.
