Ingredients

  • ½ cup chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon black pepper

Instructions

  • To make: Combine all ingredients and mix together.
  • Store in an airtight jar or container.
  • To use: Add 1-2 Tablespoons seasoning with ¼ cup water to one pound cooked meat as you would with regular taco seasoning.

The crushed red pepper flakes give a little bit of heat. You can omit if you prefer a very mild taco seasoning
If you have chipotle chili powder or Mexican oregano, these this is the perfect time to put them to use.
