Juicy Grilled Pork Chops with Farmhouse Grill Rub

Growing up, pork chops were often overcooked and dry. Thankfully, those days are over. These juicy grilled pork chops are cooked to 145°F and stay tender, flavorful, and delicious every time.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

Farmhouse Grill Rub

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together all rub ingredients.
  • Brush pork chops with olive oil on both sides.
  • Rub seasoning mixture evenly over each pork chop.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill pork chops for 5–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

This recipe calls for 1 inch thick pork chops. If you're using thicker chops, increase the cooking time. Again, a meat thermometer will help you know when they're done without having to cut into the pork.
