Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix flavor of your choice
  • Ingredients listed on cake mix box
  • 24 flat-bottom cake cones
  • Frosting
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare 1 box cake mix according to package instructions.
  • Place ice cream cones upright in a muffin tin.
  • Fill each cone ½ to ⅔ full with batter.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool completely.
  • Frost to resemble a scoop of ice cream and decorate with sprinkles.

Notes

Do not overfill the cones or batter will overflow.
Store cupcakes unfrosted at room temperature for up to 1 day.
