Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corn Chex
  • 2 cups Rice Chex
  • 2 cups Kix cereal
  • 2 cups pretzel
  • 1 cups peanuts
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F and prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl add your 2 cups Corn Chex and2 cups Rice Chex, 2 cups Kix cereal, 2 cups pretzel and 1 cups peanuts and stir everything together so everything is evenly mixed in.
  • In a small heat safe bowl melt 1 stick butter in the microwave, about 30-60 seconds. Add your 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoon seasoning salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon onion powder and mix into the butter.
Pour the mixture over your party mix and toss to evenly coat everything.
  • Pour your party mix onto your prepared baking sheet. Place in the oven to bake for 60 minutes, stir the mix about every 15 minutes while it’s baking.
Remove and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Storage tip: Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 weeks — though in our house, it’s gone long before that.
Let it cool completely: Before storing, make sure the mix is fully cooled. If it’s still warm, the steam can make it soggy.
Make it your own: Add bagel chips, swap in Wheat Chex, or try honey roasted nuts. You really can’t go wrong here.
Slow Cooker Version: Use the same ingredient list as your oven-baked version. Use a 6–7 quart slow cooker (I like oval). Cover partially (tilt the lid slightly so steam can escape) and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours, stirring every 30–45 minutes to prevent burning and make sure the mix cooks evenly.
