Grilled Corn on the Cob

Grilled Corn on the Cob Fresh sweet corn grilled directly on the grates until tender and lightly charred. No soaking, no husks, and no foil required.

Ingredients

  • 6 ears fresh sweet corn husks removed
  • 1 Tablespoon melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Toppings:

  • Chopped parsley
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Additional butter for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium heat (375-400°F).
  • Brush corn with melted butter.
  • Place corn directly on grill grates.
  • Grill for 12-15 minutes, turning every few minutes until kernels are tender and lightly charred on all sides.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Serve warm with additional butter if desired. You can also top with chopped parsley or grated Parmesan cheese.

  • No need to soak the corn before grilling. Fresh sweet corn cooks beautifully right on the grill grates.
  • The fresher the corn, the sweeter and juicier it will be.
  • Grilling without the husks allows the kernels to develop a smoky, charred flavor.
  • For extra buttery corn, brush with melted butter immediately after removing it from the grill.
  • Don't worry if some kernels become darker than others. Those charred spots add flavor.
  • Leftover corn can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
