Crispy and crunchy, this Air Fryer Chickpea recipe will soon be your low calorie, good for you snack go-to. Only 15 minutes of air fryer cook time is needed for this healthy and protein packed snack.
Rinse and drain the chickpeas. Use a paper towel or clean kitchen towel to pat them dry. You want to reduce as much moisture as possible so you can maximize crispness.
Place the chickpeas in a large bowl, add a tablespoon of your seasoning of choice, maple syrup, and olive oil. Mix well to combine everything.
Place the chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Select 400 ˚F, and cook for 15 minutes. Every 5 minutes remove the basket of the air fryer and give it a good shake so that all the chickpeas are cooked evenly.
Serve as a snack, or on top of salad.
