The ultimate dip recipe we all know and love - Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip! It’s creamy, it’s protein packed and it punches just the right amount of spice.
1small jalapeno pepperfinely minced (optional if you'd like it very spicy)
To Serve:
Celery stalks
Carrot sticks
Instructions
Season chicken breasts with a little salt and black pepper. Add your chicken breasts, broth, celery, cream cheese, hot sauce, jalapeno pepper (if using) and 4 oz. crumbled blue cheese to the crock of a 5 or 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or 5-6 hours on low.
30 minutes before serving, remove the lid and use two forks to finely shred the chicken. Add the shredded Mozzarella cheese and stir to combine. Replace the cover and continue cooking until cheese is completely melted.
Garnish dip with remaining blue cheese, sliced green onions, or jalapeno. Dip buffalo chicken into celery stalks and carrot sticks or chips and crackers of your choosing.
If the dip seems too thick, you can add several tablespoons of chicken broth to bring it to your desired dip consistency. This dip itself is a gluten free recipe, however you can serve with crackers, tortillas or whatever else you'd like for serving.
