4 skewers, soaked in water if wood

Ingredients
1
pound
ground beef
1
egg
beaten
½
cup
breadcrumbs
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
dried basil
½
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Use hands to gently mix ingredients without overworking.
Shape mixture into 12 meatballs, rolling between hands to shape. Place on a cooking tray and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
Heat a grill over medium high heat.
Thread three meatballs on each skewer and place on the grill. Turn ¼ turn every 5 minute, until temperature reaches 160 degrees for beef.
Serve with marinara sauce or sauce of choice.
These grilled meatballs can be made with ground beef, pork or turkey.
Cooking temperature:
For ground beef and pork, cook until an internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
For ground turkey cook until an internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
