Let’s ring in some holiday cheer with this Christmas Puppy Chow recipe! This snack mix, also known as muddy buddy mix, is an easy party favorite around here.

Ingredients
6cupsChex Cerealcorn chex or rice chex
2cupssmall twist pretzels
½cupbutter
⅓cupcreamy peanut butter
1 ½cupswhite chocolate chips
2 - 2 ½cupspowdered sugar
1cupholiday M&Ms
4candy canes
Instructions
Slightly crush candy canes in a ziplock bag with a rolling pin. Make small chunks of the candy cane, about the size of peas.
In a large bowl mix together the Chex and pretzels.
Melt the butter, peanut butter, and 1 cup of white chocolate chips on the stove, stirring constantly over medium to low heat.
Pour the peanut butter mixture over the Chex mixture and stir well.
Add in the powdered sugar and stir well again.
Once all of the Chex and pretzels are covered well, add in the M&M’s, the rest of the white chocolate chips, and crushed candy canes. Stir to combine
This Chex mix tastes the freshest when enjoyed within the first 2-3 days after it’s made, but it will last up to a week in an airtight container at room temperature.If the powder sugar absorbs into the mix after a day or two, simply add more powdered sugar to the mix.
Alternative method:
Use a gallon sized ziplock bag to mix the puppy chow mix. Be sure the butter mixture is not too hot when pouring it in.
