4ouncessliced provolone cheese6 slices
1Tablespoonbutter
½teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Start broiler on high. Cut the rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls intact on both the top and bottom. Place on a sheet pan or in a casserole dish. Broil until lightly toasted. Be sure to stand by as the rolls toast, they’ll brown quickly! Remove and set aside
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a medium bowl, combine pulled pork and barbeque sauce. Stir together. Spread the pulled pork mixture on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls, spreading all the way to the edges.
Top with sliced provolone and replace roll top half.
In a small bowl, melt butter and garlic powder. I microwave mine for about 30 seconds or so. Brush the top of the buns with the melted butter mixture.
Cover loosely with foil. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and bake for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted and tops are light golden brown
