Eating After Dinner – Week 2 Progress

Always Eat after 7 pm

Like I said in my previous post, it’s almost like this diet was created for me. True fact – I’m loving the progress I’m seeing!

I’ve been struggling to find a weight loss method that worked for me, but also one where I felt good about the foods I was eating.

I don’t, however have a problem with intermittent fasting. In fact, I actually find intermittent fasting really easy as I’m not a big morning eater anyway AND it is one less meal to think about.

As a whole, the plan I’m following is pretty darn realistic to follow in everyday life.

Those are all huge triggers for me. If I hear something is off limits, I tend to crave it, you know.  I also tend to do really well with my diet in the morning but I fall apart in the evening.

I also love to know why we do the things we do. 

For example, we all know that drinking water is good for us. I think it’s super helpful to understand “the why”.

Joel says, “Water helps digest your food, expel wastes, regulate your temperature, protect your tissues, cushion your joints, and protect your spinal column, among many other vital functions. It is through water that hormones flow to the proper organs, that nutrients reach all cells, and that toxins are diluted and removed from the body.”

Q: What inspired you to write the book?

A; After authoring 6 best selling books it was glaringly obvious there were 2 huge misconceptions about dieting that needed to be exposed. The first is that you can’t eat late at night or before bed, which science now shows is NOT true. And second, you can’t eat large portions that satisfy your natural instinct. This book solves both these problems by providing an evidence-based, enjoyable approach to dieting that can be used by any person to quickly achieve their weight loss goals.

Q: How difficult is the Always Eat After 7 PM plan to follow?

A; It’s not. And that’s exactly why I wrote the book. While any diet is never truly easy, it can be more enjoyable and much easier to adhere to when you understand how Always Eat After 7pm works because it caters to our bodies natural instincts.

So far, I’ve found the diet really easy to follow. I’m down seven pounds and I still have a few days to go in my acceleration phase.
