    Always Eat After 7 PM

Published: May 27, 2020 · Modified: Oct 12, 2022 by Deanne Frieders · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.

Ever since I turned the “big 40” , I’ve noticed a decrease in my metabolism and with that, the dreaded weight gain. I don’t need a doctor to tell me I need to shred some of this weight. I know it!

Besides obvious health reasons and weight loss, I also need to boost my energy. With kids ranging from 4-16 there’s a lot of running around to do.

So when I was given the opportunity to read an advance copy of  “Always Eat After 7 PM” by Joel Marion, I jumped at the chance! As I try out the plan over the next month, I’ll be sharing my experiences with the book, recipes and the plan.

In a nutshell, the Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.

    Yes, please!!

I found myself nodding like crazy as I started reading the book.

As someone who starts off the day with a healthy breakfast and follows with a relatively good lunch, I can tell you this - the wheels always start to fall off around dinnertime. Yep.

Evening time is when I start to stress eat away the chaos of the day. Especially with a nightly bowl of ice cream.

But according to Joel, “Always Eat After 7 pm is a three-phase program that teaches you how to lose big by strategically eating big when you are naturally hungriest—in the evening. This may sound too good to be true, but let me assure you it is no gimmick. It’s all about making strategic and smart food swaps, and you can still eat your favorite foods.”

Okay, if I can still eat when I crave food the most, I think I can do this!

Fingers crossed that when I share my final post it’s with a lower number on the scale and a higher number on my energy levels!

In the meantime, check out this video with the top tips from the book.
