Grilling season, here we come! I’ve put together 8 healthy summer recipes for your Memorial Day festivities.
We are still in a holding pattern, waiting for Mother Nature to give us a break. She’s been plenty generous in the rain department and we still have planting to do.

8 Memorial Day Recipes – Grilling Edition
Grilled Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken in Foil – The Recipe Critic
Make ahead and no fuss! And as far as dirty dishes are concerned, well, there are none.
Avocado Turkey Burgers – The Love Nerds
I’ve never met an avocado I didn’t love and these look light and delicious. Cook these babies until the internal temp is 165 degrees. I won’t judge if you throw some bacon on top.
Chicken Pesto Kabobs – Damn Delicious
Four ingredients and these can be grilled or baked. Keep this recipe on hand in case there’s a rain delay. That seems to be a trend these days.
Steak Kebabs with Chimichurri – Skinnytaste
You know I love a bottled sauce, but this one is worth the effort! It can be made a few hours ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator. This one’s going into my meal plan.
Bruschetta Chicken Pasta Salad – Café Delites
A carb lover’s dream but as far as pasta salads go, I’d still rate this on the healthy scale. Serve warm or cold.
Grilled Watermelon & Feta Basil Salad – Recipe Runner
Don’t let the long name scare you – if you’re looking for a shortcut make this without grilling the watermelon. Watermelon plus feta is delicious – give it a try!
Teriyaki Chicken Tacos with Grilled Pineapple Pear Salsa – Carlsbad Cravings
I’m gonna be honest – this one is a labor of love. If you have some helpers in the kitchen, though, it’s worth a look!
Grilled Portobello Mushroom Burgers – Wholesomelicious
Vegetable lovers, this one’s for you! Simple, delicious, I would top it with a slice of cheese. Have you noticed I love cheese?? Mmmmmm….
